Zero oil cooking is completely possible !!
I know I have been trying new recipes zero oil but Bhindi was always off the list as it gets slimy.
Ingredients
Bhindi chopped into rounds 500 grams Medium onion – 1 sliced Lemon – 1
Cumin seeds Salt – 2 teaspoons or to taste Turmeric – ½ teaspoon
Potato -1 medium
Recipe Heat a wide pan for a few seconds, and add the cumin and mustard seeds. Once it starts sputtering, add the sliced onions. Add in the bhindi with salt and turmeric
Stir and leave it uncovered for 5 minutes.
Add potatoes and let it cook. (It helps increase the quantity of okra and helps cook better without oil ) The trick where oil is usually needed is to help get rid of slimy stuff so we then, squeeze lemon over it.
Let it cook till its soft and crispy at the same time.
Serve hot along with Indian roti and rice.
